Gypsum plastering is an environmental friendly alternative to traditional sand-cement application for internal plastering surfaces. Gypsum plastering is also a faster application method for internal surfaces, since it does not require time consuming water curing process.
Water curing process is mandatory for 20 – 21 days after sand-cement plastering to reduce shrinkage cracks arising due to heat of hydration. Gypsum plaster slurry is then applied at desired thickness on walls and ceilings by trained applicators, this process is called as Gypsum plastering.
The one-coat gypsum plaster specifically designed to provide extra protection with low absorption of moisture in the air or from surfaces giving excellent results in skirting areas with problems arising out of capillary action, effloresence and penetrating dampness.
It is a bonding agent for Gypsum plaster & Sand cement plaster that enables preparation of Ceiling and wall surfaces (especially RCC surfaces) within 24 hours. It completely eliminates the risk of de-bonding of gypsum plaster from low section backgrounds viz. RCC surfaces(Aluminium formwork & ceilings)
It s a solution which guarantees excellent protection from cracks at different joints and conduits. This is used in beams and column joins, plumbing and electrical work chasing areas and doors and window joins amoung others.
